ORDERS & SHIPPING.

Q.01Where’s my order?

We ship from Ruch, usually next business morning. Tracking goes out by email when the box leaves us. If it’s been more than three business days and you haven’t seen tracking, write us and we’ll find it.

Q.02How fast is shipping?

Standard ground takes 3–5 business days within the lower 48. Express is 2 days for $24. We don’t ship overnight — there’s nobody at the warehouse at 4am to hand it to a driver.

Q.03Do you ship internationally?

Canada, yes. Everywhere else, not yet. Customs forms have eaten too many of our weekends.

Q.04Free shipping?

Free over $200 inside the US. Below that, $9 flat. We’d rather price the products honestly than bake $12 of shipping into a $40 jug.

Q.05Can I change my order after placing it?

Within an hour, usually. After that the box is taped. Call (541) 512-4600 — if it hasn’t shipped we’ll fix it.

RETURNS & REFUNDS.

Q.01Do you take returns?

Yes — unopened, within 30 days, in resellable shape. Liquids and OMRI nutrients are not returnable once opened (state law, mostly). Wear is returnable for store credit or exchange within 30 days.

Q.02How do refunds work?

Once the return arrives in Ruch and we verify it, refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 business days. We email you when we process it.

Q.03Something arrived broken.

Send a photo to the contact form within 7 days. We’ll replace it or refund — your call. We pack carefully but UPS has a forklift.

Q.04Final stock returns?

Same 30-day window applies. Final stock means we’re not reordering — it doesn’t mean final sale.

Q.01Is the “we’re not reordering” thing real?

Yes. The stock counter on every product page is real. When something hits zero, it’s gone. We’re slowly winding down most categories.

Q.02Why are you liquidating?

After fifteen years we’re shifting what the shop is. Less catalog, more focused. The story is on the About page if you want the long version.

Q.03Will you restock the A+B?

No. Read the dispatch in the Journal — short version is the chemistry won’t be the same and we won’t pretend it is.

Q.04When will it all be gone?

Some categories ship out by summer. Some have eighteen months in them. The site updates in real time.

Q.05Can I get notified before something sells out?

Sign up on the product page — we’ll email you when stock drops below 10 units. We don’t email about anything else.

Q.01Is everything OMRI listed?

Where the OMRI badge appears on the product, yes. Most of our soil and amendments are OMRI. Some hydroponic nutrients aren’t — they’re food-grade but not certified.

Q.02Do you offer growing advice?

Informally, yes. Call us, write us, come visit. We don’t have a formal consulting service but we’ve been doing this fifteen years and we like talking about it.

Q.03Will the orange A+B kill my dog?

Don’t let your dog drink it. Don’t let your dog drink most things on this site. Keep nutrients sealed and out of reach.

Q.04Indoor or outdoor?

Both. The catalog assumes you know which one you’re running. If you don’t, write us — happy to help you start.

Q.01Do you do wholesale?

Maybe. We work with a small number of independent shops in the Pacific Northwest. Pick the wholesale topic on the contact form and tell us about your store.

Q.02Press inquiries?

Same form, “Press” topic. We answer most reasonable requests within a week. We don’t do “ten questions over email” interviews — call us, we’ll talk.

Q.03Affiliate program?

No. We’re not big enough for it to matter and we’d rather you just like the stuff.

ABOUT THE ALIENS.

Q.01Why are there aliens?

It’s in the About page. The short version: we put one on a shirt in 2011 as a joke. Customers liked it. We kept doing it. We don’t owe them an explanation and neither do you.

Q.02Are the aliens for sale?

On stickers, shirts, and a few enamel pins. They are not for sale individually. They live here.

Q.03Did you actually see a UFO on Highway 238?

We’re not saying yes. We’re not saying no. The radio definitely cut out.
