HOW WE
HANDLE DATA.

We don’t sell your data. We use the same handful of vendors most ecommerce stores use — Stripe for payment, Google Analytics for traffic, an email provider for receipts — and we honor every CCPA right. The full policy is below.

Section 01

SCOPE.

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through:

  • our website

Sensitive Personal Information

We collect account log-in credentials (username and password) which qualify as Sensitive Personal Information under the CCPA. We use this category of information only for the purposes permitted by Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.121(a) — namely, to perform the services reasonably expected by an average consumer who requests them, to ensure security and integrity, for short-term transient use, to perform services on our behalf, and to verify or maintain quality of services. We do not use Sensitive Personal Information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. As a result, you are not entitled to a separate “right to limit” under the CCPA in connection with our use of Sensitive Personal Information; if our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide a method to exercise that right.

Section 07

HOW WE DISCLOSE IT.

We may disclose each of the categories of Personal Information identified in Section 6 to the following categories of recipients for the business purposes described in Section 5:

  • Service Providers that perform services on our behalf, including payment processors (e.g., Stripe), website hosting providers, email service providers, analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics), customer service tools, and security and fraud-prevention vendors
  • Shipping and Logistics Providers to fulfill and deliver orders
  • Professional Advisors such as attorneys, accountants, and auditors
  • Government Authorities and Law Enforcement as required by law, in response to lawful process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others
  • Successors in Interest in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business or assets

Each Service Provider is contractually obligated to use Personal Information only for the limited and specified purposes for which it was disclosed, consistent with the CCPA.

Section 08

SALE OR SHARING.

We do not Sell Personal Information for monetary consideration.

The CCPA, however, defines “Sale” and “Share” broadly. “Share” specifically includes disclosing Personal Information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not for monetary consideration. To the extent our use of analytics cookies or similar advertising-related technologies (described in Section 10) constitutes “Sharing” under the CCPA, you have the right to opt out, and we honor opt-out preference signals (such as the Global Privacy Control) communicated by your browser.

We do not knowingly Sell or Share Personal Information of consumers under sixteen (16) years of age.

To exercise your right to opt out of Sharing, see Section 14 (Your California Privacy Rights).

Section 09

RETENTION.

We retain Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to:

  • provide the Site and our products to you
  • maintain accurate business and financial records
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations
  • resolve disputes and enforce our agreements
  • protect against fraud or unauthorized access

Specific retention periods depend on the type of information and the purpose for which it is held. Where Personal Information is no longer required, we will delete, anonymize, or de-identify it in accordance with our retention schedule and applicable law.

Section 10

COOKIES & TRACKING.

We use cookies and related technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, secure your sessions, and analyze how the Site is used.

Essential Cookies

used for shopping cart operation, account authentication, checkout functionality, security protections, and session management. Disabling these may break core Site functions.

Functional Cookies

used for saved preferences, convenience features, and user-experience enhancements.

Analytics Cookies

used to understand visitor traffic, page performance, engagement behavior, navigation patterns, and conversion metrics.

Security Technologies

used to mitigate attacks, identify abuse, monitor suspicious access, and protect infrastructure.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Note that disabling cookies may impair certain features of the Site.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to DNT signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. We do, however, recognize and process the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of the Sharing of Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising, where applicable.

Section 11

GOOGLE ANALYTICS.

We use Google Analytics to better understand how visitors interact with the Site. Google Analytics may collect IP-derived information, browser and device information, session behavior, pages viewed, time spent, referral information, and interaction metrics. Google may process this information under its own privacy practices.

You can learn more about Google’s data practices at policies.google.com/privacy and opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

Section 12

EMAIL.

We may use a third-party email service provider to manage newsletters, promotional campaigns, abandoned cart reminders, and customer communication workflows. Marketing emails may contain tracking technologies (such as pixel tags) that help us understand opens, link clicks, and campaign engagement.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message, or by contacting us using the information in Section 21.

Section 13

CONTACT FORMS.

If you contact us through the Site, we may collect your name, email address, message content, and metadata associated with your submission. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, provide support, investigate issues, maintain communication records, and reduce spam and abuse.

Section 14 · CCPA / CPRA

YOUR CCPA RIGHTS.

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights with respect to your Personal Information, subject to certain exceptions provided by law:

Right to Know

You have the right to request that we disclose: (i) the categories of Personal Information we have collected about you; (ii) the categories of sources from which it was collected; (iii) the business or commercial purpose for collecting, Selling, or Sharing it; (iv) the categories of third parties to whom we have disclosed it; and (v) the specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you.

Right to Delete

You have the right to request that we delete Personal Information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, where the information is necessary to complete a transaction, detect security incidents, comply with legal obligations, or for other purposes permitted under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.105(d)).

Right to Correct

You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information we maintain about you.

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing

You have the right to direct us not to Sell or Share your Personal Information. As stated in Section 8, we do not Sell Personal Information for monetary consideration. You may opt out of Sharing by submitting a request as described below or by enabling the Global Privacy Control in your browser.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

You have the right to limit the use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information for purposes beyond those permitted by Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.121(a). As stated in Section 6, we do not currently use Sensitive Personal Information for purposes that would trigger this right.

Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, provide a different level or quality of goods or services, or suggest that you will receive a different price or level of quality, because you exercised your rights.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of the rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request through one of the following methods:

Submit a Privacy Request
MailMailing address — TBD

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf (an “authorized agent”), may make a verifiable consumer request related to your Personal Information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.

You may make a verifiable consumer request for the right to know or right to delete twice within a 12-month period free of charge.

Verification Process

We must verify your identity before responding to a request. The verification method depends on the sensitivity of the request and the type of account you have with us. We may ask you to provide information that matches Personal Information we already maintain — for example, the email address associated with your account, recent order details, or other identifying information. We will not use Personal Information provided in a verifiable consumer request for any purpose other than to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.

Authorized Agents

If you use an authorized agent to submit a request, we may require: (i) written permission from you authorizing the agent; and (ii) verification of the agent’s identity. We may deny a request from an agent who does not submit proof of authorization.

Response Timelines

We will confirm receipt of your verifiable consumer request within ten (10) business days and will respond to your request within forty-five (45) days of receipt. If we require additional time (up to an additional 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

Section 15 · Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83

SHINE THE LIGHT.

California residents may request, once per calendar year, information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year. We do not currently disclose Personal Information to third parties for those parties’ own direct marketing purposes. To make a Shine the Light request, contact us using the information in Section 21.

Section 16

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY.

The Site is not directed to children under the age of sixteen (16), and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under sixteen (16). If we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child under sixteen (16) without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe we may have collected information from a child under sixteen (16), please contact us using the information in Section 21.

Section 17

SECURITY.

We implement and maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Section 18

THIRD-PARTY LINKS.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party before providing them with your information.

Section 19

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers and central databases are located.
